September 13th, 2008 with Lady Antebellum

As part of the Colgate Country Showdown, Charley opens the show for Lady Antebellum (http://ladyantebellum.musiccitynetworks.com) at the Salt Lake County Fairgrounds on September
13th, 2008.  Lady Antebellum rolled onto the country music scene by winning the Academy of
Country Music's 2008 "Top New Group" award.  Their first single "Love Don't Live Here Anymore
" has soared
up the country radio charts.  They've performed at the legendary Grand Ole Opry, served as the
opening act on Martina McBride's 2008 arena tour and have opened shows for Kenny Chesney,
Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift, Josh Turner, Phil Vassar,
Rodney Atkins and Little Big Town.  Charley is thrilled to share the stage with such an incredible
up-and-coming band.  Come join us in September.  We will post more details as they come available!

September 21st, 2008 with Montgomery Gentry

Charley will open for Montgomery Gentry at Holt Arena, Idaho State University, Pocatello ID.
Montgomery Gentry's journey into the front ranks of American music has been one of the most
gratifying sagas of the past decade. Their road to gold and platinum albums, CMA and ACM awards,
a Grammy nomination and highly successful tours has been paved both with musical integrity and
with an abiding respect for the people and the genre they represent. "We've never sold out to
anybody," says Eddie Montgomery, whose soul-stirring baritone and 19th-century outlaw look
have become iconic among country's rowdier fans. "What you see with us is what you get."

Charley performs with Jeffery Steele in Nashville

I first want to thank all of you that have supported me over the last couple of months while I have been busy with Nashville Star.  It's been an experience of a lifetime!  I've learned a ton over the last few weeks and have made lifelong friendships.  The remaining contestants on the show are wonderful people and all are extremely talented.  I had an incredible time on the show and enjoyed being around everyone!

Since the show has aired we have received an enormous amount of emails and other messages. They have all been very encouraging and supportive.  Thanks so much!

We have included some links to some articles and things that have been written over the last several days.  We've got a lot more happening and will continue to post things on the website as they come available.

More importantly, we've got a lot of shows happening over the summer.  I would love to meet every single person that has supported me over the years and equally as important, I want to meet all of the NEW fans!  I love music and I love performing.  Every person that emails me, buys a ticket to the shows, buys c.d.'s . . . you mean the world to me and I'm so grateful to be supported by such wonderful people.
